- Basically you don't. If the "verify data" command in HDToolBox cannot repair the
- drive it is toast. (It will be real toast in the near future anyway if you have
- a complete physical cylinder on the disk that is blown. That is a *VERY* unusual
- happening on a hard disk. (How did you determine you had a dead cylinder? This
- requires detailed knowledge of the actual physical format of the disk which is
- not usually presented to users of any of the prep programs because of the
- complexities involved.)
